We have different positions available for volunteers in the areas of
nutrition, marketing, economy, psychology, health/hygiene, agriculture, office administration,
communication, teaching English and practical courses such as pastry baking, cooking, crafts, technical skills, etc.
The voluntary work can also be done as an internship.
Of all our volunteers, we require:
- a minimum stay of 2 months
- advanced Spanish skills (the voluntary work may also be combined with a Spanish course in Cusco beforehand)

Assistant in the Miski Wawa health and nutrition project
Tasks
- diagnosis at the beginning of the project
- weight and height control of the children every three months
- counseling visits to families in their homes about health, nutrition and business management
- implementing and monitoring the efficient operation of home gardens
- support in health campaigns
- balanced educational nutrition sessions
- data input (weight, height, visits, courses details etc)
- end-of-project evaluation
Requirements
- study or diploma in one of the following subjects:
- nursing
- medicine
- psychology
- nutrition
- obstetrics
- zoo-technical engineers (working with the issue of raising guinea pigs and other small animals)
- agricultural engineers (growing kitchen gardens)
- economy
You can also develop your practices, thesis and investigations of health and/or nutrition.
For these activities you have to submit a working proposal.

Assistant in the Yachay training and job placement project
Tasks
- teaching in the area of housekeeping, cooking, baking, sales, marketing, personal development or English
- market research (companies, target population
- dissemination and promotion of courses (promotional campaigns,
visits to target population, radio promotion, television, brochures etc)
- handling student enrollments
- training for mothers and young people in short technical courses that include:
- technical training module of each course
- business management module
- personal development module
- personal marketing module
- English Module
- practices of 1 month
- visits to companies for disseminating job vacancies and insertion for students of the project
- end-of-project evaluation

For the Yachay project it’s sufficient to apply for a part of the program tasks.
It’s also possible to develop your practices, thesis and/or investigations on the project.
