The target group consists of 150 children and their mothers from the marginal area of Cusco. Within those 150 children, 100 are malnourished and 50 are on the edge of malnutrition. Of the 120 mothers, 80 will be economically active, and 40 will only engage in the health aspects of the Miski Wawa project. The latter is because not all mothers have the opportunity to engage in economical activities, but still need help with improving their children’s nutritional status.
