THE FOUNDATION OF VILCABAMBA-NETHERLANDS a The motivation of Paula Boots, Jos Staats and Tiny Klever of the foundation Vilcambamba, was to help people with fewer opportunities, especially children. The Foundation was established on May 6, 2003. The objective of the Foundation is to raise funds for development projects aimed for malnourished children and the economic independence for adults in Cusco, Peru. . www.vilcabamba.nl

They chose their commitment to Peru because they had a personal involvement. Cora Staats of CEDNA works in Cusco for several development projects. She is a good friend of Paula and Tiny and the sister of Jos. Cora worked a year as a volunteer with malnourished children in April 2004 and lives in Cusco until today.
The commitment with the people in Cusco, combined with the results we have achieved over the past two and a half years with our project, gives the energy for the directors of the Foundation Vilcabamba to work as volunteers for development projects in Cusco, Peru
