Technical training for employment and entrepreneurship in the pandemic Cusco Region of Peru

Objective of the project

Improve the income levels of young men and women with limited economic resources in the area of intervention.

125 young people and mothers with limited economic resources

Project description

 

The project includes the training of 255* beneficiaries, distributed in 8 course groups of approximately 15 people and 5 training groups with organized groups and strategic allies (municipalities and/or companies), who will be trained in the field of skills and competencies that are useful in finding a job or starting and/or improving a business.

 

The project will include additional modules to the field of study, such as basic English, marketing, and personal development. In addition, training in business plans, internships and participation in talks by successful entrepreneurs and former students of the project. This will contribute to the training and profile of the student when they enter the labor market and when they start or improve their own company.

 

The project in its specific application to the beneficiaries contains a methodology: participatory, interactive, and understanding of the reality of the market, as well as its actors, in this case the future entrepreneur and the future dependent employee.

 

Note: It was planned to train 255 beneficiaries. CEDNA modified and rescheduled the goals of the project according to the pandemic situation.

Due to the pandemic situation, it was not possible to insert all those trained during the execution of the project due to the state of emergency in Peru.
